WebWadebridge railway station ( Cornish: Ponswad) was a railway station that served the town of Wadebridge in Cornwall, England. It was on the Bodmin and Wadebridge Railway. It opened in 1834 to transport goods between Wadebridge, the limit of navigation on the River Camel, and inland farming and mining areas. The Cornwall Railway was authorised to construct a branch from its Plymouth to Falmouth main line but lack of funds prevented this. When the main line did open in 1859 the town of Bodmin was only served by Bodmin Road station which was nearly 4 mi (6 km) away.
