Intakes are the same size on both heads. You can put 1.74" valves in the 516 heads and nearly equal the flow of the 906's. Then the main difference becomes the open vs closed chamber.

There are different castings for the 516 I have found! The worst being the 1966 ones for sure, very restricted exh-port... The 64's and 65's seem much better cast in the exhaust area. Plus I have a 516 undated casting without a Mopar CD stamp which appears to have the 915 Exh-port? I have a 915 to hand and I will compare them both tomorrow.
