We've not done anything to the car but I guess the investigation order is: a. Injector lead (s) b. Plug / lead. c. Coil pack (but wouldn't this involve two cylinders?) d. Injector (maybe swap between cylinders to see if fault follows?) e. ECU f.
WebDec 24, 2024 · Diagnostics showed that the error codes read as misfires in cylinder 1 and 4. They said that the belt/timing seemed to be ok and that they could not see any other obvious problems. They suggested it's likely to be the coil so I had that changed at a cost of £200.

WebJun 6, 2024 · First off, sorry if this topic has already been covered but I could only find a thread for the 4 cylinder cars and not the 2 cylinder models. My local Alfa Specialist in Derby diagnosed my sons Mito misfire as a defective Multiair unit. He sugessted that an oil flush may remedy the fault but if not, then it would probably need the Multiair unit.

Would need MES. If needed, state location, may find a local volunteer. If, as expected is square oil filler, fault is leads or plugs as suggested above, or timing out.
