WebJul 21, 2024 · I have a GE top load washer model GTW680BSJ5WS. It is not sensing that the lid is closed and therefore will not start. I have replaced the lid lock, unplugged it for an extended period of time, attempted to reset it, and it does not appear that any of the connections are loose. I am completely out of ideas of what is wrong and how to fix it.
