Golph3 autophagy
WebJan 31, 2024 · Golgi phosphoprotein 3 (GOLPH3), a Phosphatidylinositol 4-Phosphate [PI(4)P] effector at the Golgi, is required for Golgi ribbon structure maintenance, vesicle trafficking and Golgi glycosylation. GOLPH3 has been validated as an oncoprotein through combining integrative genomics with clinopathological and functional analyses. It is … WebMay 15, 2024 · In this study, we demonstrated that Golgi phosphorylation protein 3 (GOLPH3), a highly conserved protein basically concentrates in the trans-Golgi network, promoted glioma autophagy. Inhibiting autophagy by using chloroquine suppressed the stimulating effect of GOLPH3 on glioma malignant development both in vitro and in vivo.

WebResults. We screened 344 DE circRNAs in unstable plaques, consisting of 342 upregulated and 2 downregulated circRNAs. GO analysis showed that the host genes of the upregulated circRNAs were related to ER to Golgi transport vesicle membrane, endocytic vesicle membrane, and Ran GTPase binding. WebSep 3, 2024 · Previous studies on the peripheral Golgi membrane protein GOLPH3 and its paralogue GOLPH3L (herein I will refer to both proteins as GOLPH3) indicated it can bind to certain Golgi enzymes and to the COPI coat, thereby acting as an adaptor to mediate sorting of these enzymes into COPI vesicles (4, 5).This was first shown for the yeast orthologue …
WebJan 7, 2014 · GOLPH3 is a PI4P-binding protein that depends on PI4P for its Golgi localization [ 20 ]. The GOLPH3-interacting protein MYO18A localizes to the cell cortex in addition to the Golgi. Tan et al. raised the possibility that GOLPH3 and MYO18A have additional roles outside of the Golgi [ 91 ]. class 7 assignment 18 weak answerWebMay 31, 2024 · Rahman et al. create Atg8a-LDS (LIR motif docking site) mutants in Drosophila. They show that Atg8a-LDS mutants accumulate autophagy substrates and have reduced lifespan. Using quantitative proteomics, they identify Golgi protein GMAP as a LIR motif-containing protein that interacts with Atg8a.
