Web27 jun. 2024 · You can't set the Y jerk differently than the X jerk with Marlin and Sprinter (other firmwares let you). So you will have to use the lower jerk value for the 2 axes. There is a reason for this. Jerk is not the derivative of acceleration in Marlin. Instead it should be called "instant velocity change" or some other name. Jerk is a bad name. WebWhereas Creality uses the default Classic Jerk setting instead of the newer Junction Deviation. However if you are new to editing firmware I would urge to setup with the Classic Jerk until you have run a few test prints and are happy. Nonetheless the CLASSIC_JERK setting needs to be enabled.
