Web28 jan. 2011 · It hangs LOOOOOOWWWWW!. I broke my Dana 300 by sitting down on a rock with it. The force was enough to twist the D300 and crack it in about 5 places on the flange that bolts to the tranny. SO if you change the NP218 input gear to a 27 spline why would you need the adapter? Web18 okt. 2010 · Long story short is I swapped out my NP208 for a NP241 with JB SYE and DIY4X ckocking ring. I used the gasket that came with the NP241 rebuild kit and applied Black RTV to both sides of it and sandwhiched it between the ring and tranny adapter. Now I have a very slow leak, more of a drip...
