I hate these Bridgestone Duelers since I got them and will probably replace the with Michelin, but I would like to figure out the issue before dropping $1000 on … WebThe tires wear is mostly on Front, outside rim. All of my Fords have done this, even with a correctly aligned front end and Ford saying no bad parts. Outer wear is usually an indicator of out of alignment, improper inflation or worn part. I've seen a sticker that was left on the bead from the manufacturer and not removed by the tire installer cause the the tire to loose pressure because the tire bead could not seat properly. If there was plenty of junk left on the rim when they installed the tires. WebThe rear tires wear to the inside rim and the front tires wear to the outside rim. I never heard of such a thing and questioned him about it. He just now called and recommended that I get two new front tires for $1,000. I asked if the wrong alignment, suspension, or worn brake pads could be causing this.
