Currently throttle body fuel injected (Patton Machine/Affordable F.I.) set-up. Runs great under all conditions except one; slow down to make a quick left turn...1/2 way thru the turn...engine stalls. This with the clutch depressed. Alternator light comes on, turn key engine restarts just fine.

WebOct 27, 2014 · Another idea I've considered is to use a Richard Good triple intake combined with three Stromburg carbs and the Patton Machine injection adapters. I have a box of old Stromburgs, and this seems like a cheaper way to go. You'd just need to make sure the throttle shaft sealing is in good shape. Webfuel pump should be mounted below the fuel tank fuel level for the pump to work properly. If necessary put a cover over it to keep the environment away form the pump. A fuel filter is to be installed in the fuel line PRIOR to the fuel pump. Premature failure of the pump can be the result of improper fuel filter installation.
