I had an old fix 4100 with a stock cooler, got some mx4 thermal paste after seeing temps run 35c idle. Swapped paste, stock clock and voltage and cpu a recorded a -4c idle temp on all cores. The auto oc option set the base clock to 3.4 GHz with 4.3 GHz on turbo boost, but the ACPI P-state table claims it runs at 5.8 GHz. Contacted ASUS and awaiting bios update. This is all with Maverick.
