There is no dross in God’s Word: “The words of the LORD are flawless, like silver purified in a crucible, like gold refined seven times” (Psalm 12:6). The seven-fold refining of the Word speaks to Scripture’s perfection. There is nothing trivial, inferior, or worthless in God’s Word.
